Butterflies are back in town

HELIX OASIS CERTIFIED AS A MONACH WAY STATION

Spring is here, and it’s butterfly season! After years of careful planting and propagation, Helix Oasis location, has received a certification from MonarchWatch.Org and been awarded Monarch Waystation # 41048. Approval includes reviewing the location for size, exposure, shelter, milkweed plants, nectar plants and ongoing management for support of Monarch butterflies. Helix Oasis owner has been dedicated to creating and maintaining a Monarch Waystation and has pledged to continue this as part of her commitment to improving our environment. The property is carefully planned with different species of plants to support traveling Monarchs. The peaceful location is covered with colorful varieties of flowers, fruit trees and native plants. It’s a year-round delight to visit, but the late spring to early fall is the most fragrant and beautiful.
